Ortho-Doc-Assist

Orthopaedics

An orthopaedic workflow, not a general EMR with an orthopaedic label.

The examination, the scores, the classifications, the operative notes and the rehabilitation plan are written in orthopaedic terms, by an orthopaedic surgeon, for orthopaedic practice.

Examination, joint by joint

Choose the region and the examination changes with it: range of motion in degrees against normal values, and the special tests for that joint, each marked positive, negative or not examined.

  • Knee, Shoulder, Hip, Ankle and foot, Spine, Elbow, Wrist and hand, plus a general examination
  • Scores calculated as you record: VAS, Lysholm, KOOS, Tegner, HOOS
  • Licensed questionnaires such as Oxford, WOMAC and IKDC recorded as totals from your own forms

Special tests offered for the knee

  • Effusion
  • Crepitus
  • Varus stress
  • Valgus stress
  • Lachman
  • Anterior drawer
  • Posterior drawer
  • McMurray
  • Thessaly
  • Pivot shift
  • Patellar apprehension
  • Joint-line tenderness
The Examination tab for a knee: flexion and extension range of motion with normal values, a checklist of knee special tests including Lachman, McMurray and anterior drawer, and the VAS pain score.

Investigations and imaging

Investigations suggested for the region you are examining, a custom imaging request with modality, region, side and views, and results entered by parameter.

  • 13 investigation panels, such as osteoporosis, inflammatory, pre-operative and fever
  • Measure and classify a film on screen yourself — there is no image AI
  • Text in scanned and PDF reports read offline
The Investigations tab: suggested knee investigations such as X-ray AP, lateral and skyline views, MRI and CBC, ESR, CRP, followed by common scans and blood tests that can be added with one click.

Classification and the plan

Record your impression with its status, classify the fracture inside the visit, and follow a guideline pathway where one applies.

  • 22 fracture classification systems
  • Guideline pathways for 18 conditions, including osteoarthritis of the knee, gout, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis
  • Wound documentation with the Gustilo grade worked out from what you record
The Diagnosis and plan tab: a diagnostic impression with a status of suspected, provisional, working, confirmed, ruled out or final, and advice that can be added with one click, such as rest and limb elevation or ice pack.

From the OPD to the operation and back

The parts of orthopaedic practice that a general EMR leaves to paper.

  • Rehabilitation plans

24 condition templates with weight-bearing and range-of-motion limits, printed or sent on WhatsApp in English, Hindi or Marathi after you review them.

  • Operative notes

133 operative-note templates, 27 instrument-set checklists and an implant register.

  • Rheumatology

A rheumatology module with DAS28 and a 28-joint count, opened from the visit when you need it.

  • Medico-legal cases

An MLC register, injury certificates in medico-legal report format and consent for medico-legal examination.
